A day on the dock

I got off of the chilly bus and put on my lucky fishing shirt. Then I was on my way. As I walked I admired the beautiful pine trees that towered over me. It made me think about all of the good things in my life. My mom, my dad, stepdad (or stad if you please), my real day, and all of my supporters at FAM or in the fishing industry in general.

When I arrived I rigged up my rod with a pink shiny lure and half of a night crawler. I casted it and heard the “plop”. As soon as it hit the water all of the sun fish came up and swarmed me. I said “I wasn't really aiming for sunnys but I’ll take whatever bites”. But deep down I knew I wasn't gonna settle for the bare minimum so I moved my lure over to that huge bass and tried to get a bite.

Ugh! He got scared! So I went back to the sun fish and caught a couple. I registered them on the FAM quest. Then my mom told me to go home so I went home. I told my mom and Joe ALL about my fish and how I could've had a FEAST but decided to be nice and leave them for other people.
